The Role
Super raised a $5 million Series Seed in July 2021 and is actively building our roadmap and early MVP. Its co-founders are veterans in digital product and B2B and B2B2C growth most recently hailing from Facebook and LTSE.
We are looking for a hands-on technology leader to join our founding and fast-growing team. We are seeking a full-stack engineer to join our founding team and help build our company and flagship product. As one of our earliest employees, you will be responsible for architecting and executing our engineering approach and collaborating closely on the broader business strategy. It is also critical that you have significant working time overlap with our founders, based in New York.
You balance expertise in your craft with strategic leadership to influence the overall product and, eventually, build and lead a team of engineers. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership for the end-product and user experience and enjoy being in the tools. You know how to be lean and agile and also how to build for scale, including how to leverage third-party tools and create seamless integrations across platforms.
What you do:
- Build and guide our growing team and product as one of our founding engineers
- Write quality, clean, and secure code. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a well-architected product.
- Define our near-term and long-term technical roadmap. We will look to you for guidance on our technology stack and approach. Our product will begin with a web app for property managers, building boards, and residents, and eventually explore a resident mobile app as well.
- Work closely with the team on product decisions and strategy. We expect a point of view and a collaborative partner who is interested in finding creative solutions.
- Hire and manage an engineering team to execute on the vision we've developed together.

Interview Process
- Submit your application, including resume with samples of live digital products (web app preferred, but please share whatever is going to best help us evaluate your technical abilities). We commit to responding to every candidate, and you can expect to hear from us about next steps within the next 1-2 weeks.
- Applicants that progress to live interviews will meet with our co-founders, Lindsay and Vika. This session will be focused on product thinking, communication, collaboration, and stage and values alignment.
- Final round candidates will do a more in-depth technical review with our engineering team

We believe that i takes structure to achieve a truly flexible work environment. For all the talk about remote work out there, we know that being able to go run an errand, snag that 3pm dentist appointment, or whatever it is you need doesn’t happen without norms to support it. For us, that structure includes a four-day work week (with an on-call rotation to manage any fires) and a purposeful meeting blueprint (meetings must start with a goal and wrap with a decision point or crisp next steps). Valuing one another’s time is one of the best ways we can be focused and effective.
